課程概述 考試範圍

This course focuses on building academic English skills at the B2 level to prepare students for academic success. Approximately 80% of the course content is academically related. It aims to enhance students' academic English reading abilities and develop academic discussion skills based on critical reading of and reference to source materials (e.g., opinion essays, periodicals, and special reports). In this class, students will read the source materials with enhanced fluency following effective use of reading strategies. Students will also actively engage in extensive reading with a critical perspective (e.g., distinguishing between fact and opinion, evaluating sources, and identifying points of view). Academic discussion skills will be practiced in a variety of formats, including whole-class analysis of topical issues, problem-solving group work, or short individual oral presentations.
