課程概述 考試範圍

此課程協助英語分級為三級的學生使用各式線上英語學習軟體與 網站資源，建立學生自主學習能力。主要教材是本校語言中心提供的 線上學習軟體 Clarity English 中的“Active Reading” 及 “Tense Buster” ，作 為期中與期末考核之用。透過課堂講解與互動、網站軟體操作以及每 週的自學報告，同學能利用不同主題與媒體，增強英文的聽說讀寫能 力，進而應用在日常生活中。每兩週會安排線上個人會談，檢視同學 的學習狀況並及時解決學習上困難或疑問。

This course aims to develop students’ English self-learning abilities. The online learning programs of “Active Reading,” and “Tense Buster” from Clarity English (the link is available in the website of NDHU Language Center) are the main teaching materials, especially for term evaluations. Other online resources are also introduced in class. Through various practices and exercises of different topics and formats, students can enhance their listening, reading, speaking and writing skills that are applicable in everyday life. Individual online interviews are included to diagnose students’ learning impediments and speaking problems. Students are encouraged to report their learning results and questions weekly so that the progress can be gauged.

課程要求

1. 使用 Google Meet 進行線上授課及面談，並參與課間活動或討論
2. 完成英文能力的前測與後測，以及期中與期末的線上考試
3. 準時繳交每週自學報告

1. Attend the online classes and interviews through google meet and participate in the in-class activities or discussion.
2. Complete pre-test, post-test, midterm and final online exam.
3. Submit Weekly Learning Report on-time.
