| 課程概述 | 考試範圍 | 此課設計為讓學生進步溝通能力，尤其會專注於加強聽說的能力。課程中會運用authentic 及 多文化的教材來協助學習。課堂中，會有 teacher-center 及 student center 的教學方式。 The course is designed to improve students’ communication skills, with particular emphasis placed on improving listening and speaking skills. Authentic and cross-cultural material (from the United States) will be used in this class to assist learning. There will be balance between teacher-centered instruction and student-centered instruction. This course is designed mainly for students to build a strong English base through an interactive learning environment. A mixture of both academic and daily English will be present. |

| 課程要求 | 此課主要設計為讓學生在一個互動式的環境建立英文基礎。課裡會引用日常生活的英語和學術英語。此外，課裡會實施task-based 教學和 student centered 教學—也就是說，課裡會有許多的小組互動。學生會被要求要在課裡發言因為熟能生巧。 Task-based instruction and student centered instruction will be implemented—meaning there will be a lot of pair work, group work and interaction. Students will be asked to speak up because practice makes perfect. |
