Keynote title: Open Innovation Environment: Network Testbeds, Cloud Testbeds and Software Defined Network Exchange(SDX)
Abstract:
Computer & Information Science is one of the primary drivers for innovation in the last few decades. Open environments that enables research experiments in Computer & Information Science are emerging around the world. This presentation gives a brief overview of the concept of open innovation environment, then presents examples of open research environment in the U.S.: network testbeds, cloud testbeds and open software defined networking exchanges. It will show how to connect distributed testbeds together for Computer & Information technology innovation integration across different disciplines and enable research collaboration between different countries.
